We do exactly what it says on our van; we serve up personalised, quality Poetry to our visitors: performed and wrapped to Takeaway. Whether we’re at a leafy arts festival, on a busy high street, in an office space, in an exhibition hall, or at your corporate event, we pride ourselves on writing bespoke, accessible poetry whatever the audience.

At The Poetry Takeaway we serve up poems from a diverse and talented group of ‘poet chefs’ based all around the country, and we have worked with over 200 poets during the last 24 months alone.

We can work with or without our trusty Burger Van and have a number of offerings in addition to our standard performance.

• We offer ‘Poetry Takeaway Live’, which is an interactive stage performance.
• We offer our drop-in workshop ‘The Poetry Picnic’, which covers all ages and abilities.
• We can create bespoke workshops/presentations for Schools, Universities, community groups, or in the workspace.
• Whatever the event, we’ll provide a poet or a team of poets – just let us put something truly unique together for your particular needs.
